Future Bridge Program

The Future Bridge Program aims to empower second- and third-year high school students by providing them with the opportunity to study general university courses while completing their secondary education. These courses are later counted as accredited academic credits within the student's university study plan. The program also offers students an early exposure to university life


 

Required Documents for Registration

  1. A copy of a valid National Identity Card.
  2. General Aptitude Test (GAT) score.
  3. A copy of the first-year or second-year high school transcript/certificate.

General Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a Saudi citizen or the child of a Saudi mother.
  2. Be enrolled in the second or third year of high school at a public education institution.
  3. Obtain a weighted score of at least 85%, calculated as follows:
    • 50% from the General Aptitude Test (GAT) score.
    • 50% from the cumulative GPA of the previous academic year.

The two percentages are combined to determine the final weighted score for admission to the program.

Important Information About the Future Bridge Program

  1. Students join the program at the beginning of each university second semester.
  2. Courses are delivered online, while examinations are conducted on campus.
  3. Course credits are studied weekly, and students may benefit from the university's self-learning support systems.
  4. Class schedules and lecture timings are arranged by the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
  5. Midterm and final examination schedules are determined by the university, whether paper-based or electronic, while ensuring no conflict with public school schedules.
  6. Students are subject to all university regulations governing course completion, including attendance requirements and minimum passing grades as stipulated in the University's Study and Examination Regulations. Compliance with these regulations is required for university courses to be officially recognized.
  7. The University of Jeddah bears no responsibility if a student fails a course or if completed courses are not transferred to another university.

We are proud of Amjad Turkumani, a University of Jeddah student, for successfully completing the KFUPM Inbound Summer Research Program at the Joint Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (JRC-AI), in collaboration with SDAIA. Amjad conducted research in AI Safety, achieving a 70% relative reduction in Attack Success Rate (ASR) while preserving the model’s capabilities and performance.
